I was inspired by Food52’s Instagram hashtag #blizzardblizzard to make a sweet, creamy, and caffeinated blizzard in a blizzard. You might think that’s crazy, but I feel like snow is a good insulator, making my apartment extra toasty, so an icy-cold blizzard really hits the spot.
This recipe is dead simple. I feel silly even writing it out. It goes without saying that this is a just-for-fun post you can change up with whatever flavors and cookies you have on hand. A colorful boba straw, however, is critical 😉
Coffee Cookies & Cream Blizzard
Ingredients
1/3 cup milk of choice
4-5 coffee ice cubes
2 cups coffee ice cream
2-3 Milano cookies
Directions
- Put two glasses in the freezer for 5 minutes.
- Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
- Pour into the frozen glasses. If the blizzard starts to melt too fast in the blender, chill it in the freezer for 5-10 minutes, then stir.
- Tastes best if you drink it through an extra wide straw.
Notes
3-4 Oreo cookies with the filling scraped off would be good too in place of the Milano cookies.

Mmm…that looks scrumptious. Gotta get me some of those straws, though!
I just take extras when I get bubble tea… shhhhh 😉
